Holiday Toy Drive

This holiday season The Kevin Humes Memorial Foundation purchased $500 dollars worth of Lego sets from the CHOP toy drive wish list! Kevin loved the holidays. He especially loved decorating and gift giving. Kevin was an avid Lego lover from childhood into adulthood so we thought this would be the perfect gift to give in Kevin’s memory. This donation directly benefits the children in the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia!

Kevin Humes Cornhole Tournament

Kevin’s good friend hosted a cornhole tournament in Kevin’s memory in his past residence of Manayunk, Philadelphia. Friends gathered for a fun-filled day of remembering good times with Kevin and some friendly competition. The donations and entry fee for the tournament raised $1,000 dollars for the foundation! First Annual Walk for Kevin

On Sunday, May 16 ,2021 - one year after Kevin’s life was tragically taken from him – friends and family from near and far gathered to walk in Kevin’s memory and in solidarity in seeking Kevin’s justice. Kevin’s village completed a 5k along the Schuylkill River trail and spent time afterwards with great food and drinks reminiscing about our beloved Kevin.

Sea Isle City Memorial Bench

In Spring 2021, we placed a memorial bench in Kevin’s heaven on Earth – Sea Isle City. Kevin spent his whole life vacationing in Sea Isle City with family and friends. The bench was placed at his favorite spot on the bay where he spent countless nights in the summer watching the sunset with loved ones.
